For our Flexible Rate: The full amount of the booking will be refunded if you cancel at least 5 days before your arrival.
For our Non-Refundable Rate: This rate does not allow any refund under any circumstances, except in cases of demonstrable force majeure.

By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, as well as any additional rules that may be published or communicated, so we recommend reading them carefully before making a reservation or staying at our property.
All bookings must be made through our website, our profiles on online travel agencies, by email or by phone. To guarantee the booking, full payment of the rate or a commitment to pay on arrival is required.
Prohibition of parties or events and noise on the property:
Holding any type of party or event is strictly forbidden, as is any noise after 8:00 PM.
Failure to comply with this rule entitles La Casona de Tao to terminate the contract, with no refund to the guest.
A €150 deposit may be required for damage/security reasons:
La Casona de Tao is authorised to charge for any damage caused to the facilities, furniture or equipment, to cover the cost of repairs, replacement of goods or any other breach of these terms and conditions. This includes leaving dishes unwashed and smoking indoors. Guests must pay an extra charge at check-out if the accommodation is not left in a minimally acceptable condition or if the rules set out here have not been followed.
The accommodation must be left clean and tidy, including removing all rubbish, bottles, food and personal belongings.
Use of the Facilities
Guests must respect the internal rules of La Casona de Tao, including the rules of coexistence and safety.
Illegal activities or any behaviour that disturbs other guests or the property’s staff are not permitted.
Use of the common areas is at your own risk. La Casona de Tao is not liable for loss, theft or damage to your personal belongings.
All accommodations are non-smoking
Guests who wish to smoke must do so outdoors. Smoking indoors will incur a €250 surcharge. This charge covers the costs associated with removing cigarette smoke from soft furnishings, rugs, mattress covers, bedding and the wooden ceiling.
No pets allowed
Pets are not permitted in any of our accommodations. If we become aware that there are pets on the premises, guests will be required to leave the accommodation, the contract will be cancelled and no refund of the booking will be given.
Documentation:
La Casona de Tao asks all guests for their passport or ID before arrival, as we are required to present this documentation if requested by the authorities, along with the document setting out the Rules of La Casona de Tao, the rules described here, which guests will also find as a reminder behind the door of each room.
Both documents are required before we can hand over the keys; if any document is missing, we reserve the right to cancel the booking with no possibility of a refund.
Personal data provided during the booking and stay process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
No show:
If you do not arrive at the accommodation on the expected arrival date, you will be considered a no-show, your booking will be cancelled and no refund will be possible.
Amendments:
If a guest wishes to transfer their booking to another guest, an administrative fee of 20 EUROS applies.
La Casona de Tao reserves the right to authorise changes of date or of the lead guest.
Date changes are subject to the discretion of La Casona de Tao.
If you change to a higher-priced room type, or to dates with higher demand, you will need to pay the rate difference. No refund will be given if you choose a lower-priced room or season. If you decide to reduce the number of nights of your stay, no refund will be given for the nights not used.
Children:
Guests travelling with minors must supervise them at all times and must never leave them unattended. The guest will be responsible throughout their stay for any accident that a minor may suffer within the properties managed by La Casona de Tao.
Energy and Resource Savings:
Electricity and water resources must not be misused. The use of any high-consumption appliance not already provided in the accommodation on arrival (clothes irons, hair dryers, etc.) is strictly forbidden, as such external appliances may be damaged and we will not be held responsible; any resulting damage will be charged to the guest. We also ask that water used for personal hygiene be used moderately.
Inspections:
The property manager has the right to enter the property at any time to inspect it or carry out any task, such as repairs and general maintenance.
Release of Liability and Indemnification:
1. Personal belongings of any value should never be left unattended. La Casona de Tao disclaims all liability for the loss or theft of jewellery, money, documents or other valuables of any kind. Every time they leave the property, guests must close the windows, lock all doors and keep their personal belongings safe and secure.
2. Neither La Casona de Tao nor the property owner nor any of their representatives will be liable for any injury, loss, illness or damage to any guest or guest’s property.
3. Neither La Casona de Tao nor the property owner nor any of their representatives will be liable for any disruption or inconvenience the guest may experience while occupying the property caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions or any circumstance beyond our control, including but not limited to the interruption of water, gas, electricity or internet services.
