We’re not a resort or a chain. Casona de Tao is a restored Canarian country house in the village of Tao, right in the centre of the island, twenty minutes from the airport and a world away from mass tourism.
The building keeps what makes Lanzarote’s architecture unique: volcanic stone, traditional courtyards and a century-old fig tree that watches over the garden. With twelve rooms — no more — every guest is a name, not a booking number.
