Welcome to La Casona de Tao. By hiring or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, as well as any additional regulations published or communicated. We recommend reading them carefully before making a reservation or staying at our facilities.
Reservations: All reservations must be made through our website, online agency profiles, email, or telephone. To guarantee the reservation, full payment of the rate or a commitment to pay upon arrival is required.
Refund Policy: Reservations are refundable. Reservations are refundable, provided you request cancellation at least 7 days before your arrival.except for promotional rates, discounted reservations using coupons, or non-refundable rates.
Prohibition of Parties, Events, and Noise: The holding of any type of party or event is strictly prohibited, as is noise after 8:00 PM. Failure to comply with this rule entitles La Casona de Tao to terminate the contract, and the guest will not receive any refund.
Security/Damage Deposit: A deposit of €150 may be required for damage/security reasons. La Casona de Tao is authorized to request payment for any damage caused to the facilities, furniture, or equipment to cover repair costs, replacement of goods, or any other breach of these terms. This includes leaving unwashed dishes and smoking indoors. Guests must pay an extra charge upon departure if the accommodation is not in minimally optimal conditions or if the rules set forth herein have not been met. The accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy manner, including the removal of all trash, bottles, food, and personal items.
Use of Facilities: Guests must respect the internal rules of La Casona de Tao, including rules of coexistence and safety. Illegal activities or any behavior that disturbs other guests or the estate staff is not permitted. The use of common facilities is at your own risk. La Casona de Tao is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings.
All Accommodations are Non-Smoking: Guests who wish to smoke must do so outdoors. Smoking indoors will incur a surcharge of €250. This charge covers the costs associated with removing cigarette smoke from soft furnishings, carpets, mattress liners, bedding, and ceiling timbers.
No Pets Allowed: Pets are not allowed in any of our accommodations. If we become aware of pets inside, guests must leave the accommodation, the contract will be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.
Documentation: La Casona de Tao requires all guests to provide their passport or ID before arrival, as we are obliged to present such documentation if requested by the authorities. Guests must also sign the “Rules of La Casona de Tao” document. These rules are also posted behind the doors of each room as a reminder. We must have both documents to proceed with the handover of keys; if any document is missing, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without a refund. Personal data will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
No-Show: If you do not arrive at the accommodation on the scheduled arrival date, it will be considered a “no-show,” your reservation will be cancelled, and there will be no possibility of a refund.
Modifications: If a guest wishes to transfer their reservation to another guest, an administrative fee of €20 applies. La Casona de Tao reserves the right to authorize changes of dates or primary guests. Date changes are subject to the discretion of La Casona de Tao. When switching to a higher-priced room type or high-demand dates, you must pay the difference. No refund will be given if you choose a lower-priced room or season. If you decide to reduce the number of nights, no refund will be made for unused nights.
Children: Guests accompanied by minors must look after them at all times; they must never be left unattended. The guest will be responsible during their entire stay for any accident the minor may suffer within the properties managed by La Casona de Tao.
Energy and Resource Saving: Abuse of electricity and water resources is prohibited. The use of any high-consumption appliances not found in the accommodation upon arrival (irons, hair dryers, etc.) is strictly prohibited, as external devices may be damaged and we will not be held responsible; the guest will be liable for any damages caused. We also ask for moderate water consumption for personal hygiene.
Inspections: The property manager has the right to enter the property at any time to inspect or perform tasks such as repairs and general maintenance.
Release of Liability and Indemnification:
Personal belongings of any value should never be left unattended. La Casona de Tao declines all responsibility for the loss or theft of jewelry, money, documents, or other valuables. Every time they leave the property, guests must close windows, lock all doors, and keep their personal belongings safe.
Neither La Casona de Tao, the property owner, nor any of their representatives shall be liable for any injury, loss, illness, or damage to any guest or guest property.
Neither La Casona de Tao nor the owner shall be liable for disruptions caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or circumstances beyond our control, including interruptions to water, gas, electricity, or internet services.
